My Take On: Pal Dhaba

Hello Lovely Readers,

Apologies for not writing for a while now.I was on a vacation for about two weeks and went home. It took a while for me to get out of that mood, then the missing home phase, and soak in office environment.

So,Today I'm going to share the most delighted experience of my vacation. And yes! Its about The Glorified Butter chicken... Balle balle!! :P

Here's my Take on Pal Dhaba
Address:  Booth No. 165-166, Sector 28 D, Chandigarh, 160102
Pal Dhaba Menu, Reviews, Photos, Location and Info - Zomato

When ever I visit home, the first thing that i religiously do is visit this restaurant. I always take the morning flight from Pune to Chandigarh, Avoid the in-flight food and survive my journey only on water. Now you may say, Such a miser! doesn't want to spend on the over priced food items at the airports and flights. But No!!! This all is done just to save that extra space to stuff at Pal Dhaba.

The only route that my Dad remembers from airport to my home is via Sector 28-D. Thanks to me.
I visit this place before I go home. I guess by now, you might have got an idea of why this place is so special.

But for some of you who haven't made it yet, Let me decode it--- It's for their butter chicken.

It's the best thing i have ever eaten in my life. I don't know their menu, I don't know what else they serve. Honestly, I don't even want to know.
Of all of you, those who read my article whats with maharashtras punjabi dhabas , do you remember the butter chicken I talked about, this place serves that glorified sin.

I enter this place, and before I could find myself seat, My order is already sent.
My order:
Mains: Butter Chicken Full
Breads: Butter Naan.

Oh so buttery buttery..!!
I know, but when committing a sin, commit it wholeheartedly.

Once your order arrives, and you have your first bite, you'll forget the world around you, and concentrate only on the explosion of flavors in your mouth. The rich gravy, the perfect aroma of the spices, that blend of spices so perfectly balanced and those melt in the mouth chicken pieces. What else you want in this world.

Its utterly heavenly.!!

The prices are really genuine, where else do you get a big bowl (about 2 l. )of butter chicken for just four hundred something. Or may be the place i stay now is really expensive.

Lets sum this whole experience here. I know no other thing at this restaurant, hence I rate it on the only thing I know here as:
Food: 5/5
Taste: 5/5
Ambiance: To heck with it, you are going to forget it either ways. (But good for family dinner.)
Value for Money: 4/5. Way cheaper.

My Take On: Malaka Spice

Hey lovelies, I have a friend who is transferring to NCR this weekend. It all happened on such a short notice that we didn’t get enough time to plan for anything. She received the confirmation on Thursday, hence we planned an evening out on the very day. The irony of this farewell party is that the person departing was on fast.:P. Anyways, we decided a beautiful place but due to traffic and work the next day, we ended in the neighborhood. So here’s My Take on: Malaka Spice. The first impression, those flower laden rickshaws parked on both sides of the entrance. As I stepped in I liked their outdoor seating, those beautifully decorated walls with picture frames and then those paper lamps on the edge of the shed running all the way to the other end. Southeast Asian food is not something I like. I just can’t take red chilly or pungent and sharp flavors like those of kimchi. I am a die-hard fan of Chinese, probably that’s what I eat more often than my own food. But Thai o...

My Take on: Prem's

Howdy people!? I'm in a cheerful mood today... Think my Zumba class charged me.. :P (giggle) So today I'm going to share my experience with one of the famous restaurant in Pune --Prem's. Ever since I moved to Pune I have been longing for good Punjabi food. And I have been hearing a lot about this place: Prem's Restaurant: 28/2, Opp. Lane 3, North Main Road, Koregaon Park, Pune. I got to visit this place last weekend. It was a rainy evening and I went there for dinner with a couple of friends. As usual before going there I did little R&D about the place and the menu. I was ready with my order before reaching there. The place has outdoor seating. The tables are arranged under a shed alongside the bar. the tables are candle-lit. Dim lights, raining, slight cold and outdoor dinner. Amazing. The ambiance is good. And now comes the food. We ordered few starters both veg and non veg, and the main course. Our order was: Starters; Veg Spring rolls: Th...
